LTP Code of Conduct

This Code of Conduct (CoC) describes and sets out the ethical principles of the business carried out and conducted by LTP Group and its subsidiaries and demanded to be carried out and conducted by subcontractors and main suppliers.

The purpose of this CoC is to ensure an ethical and fair business of all parties and people involved. We believe that a strong focus and continuous improvement of an ethical business and compliance to the principles below will ultimately benefit all parties and countries – both economically, environmentally and socially. No business will be or can be expected conducted with supplier/subcontractor failing to meet this CoC and failing to initiate improvements where needed.

A copy of this CoC must be translated into the national language and placed at a visible and easily accessible place for the workers.

The general principles 1-10 are the UN Global Compact with our additional principle 11.



Human rights are universal and belong to everyone equally – regardless of age, gender, race and/or religious or political belief.

Principle 1: Businesses must support and respect the protection of internationally proclaimed human rights; and Principle 2: make sure that they are not complicit in human rights abuses.  

LTP Group and its subsidiaries condemns violations of any internationally declared human rights. People must be treated with dignity and respect regardless of social status or rank.

LTP Group warrants to support and not to violate such internationally declared human rights.


The labour force is the foundation of any business. Therefore, a solid founded and respected labour force ensures a solid and long-term viable business. Professional, cheerful and encouraging leadership is appreciated. Principle 3: Businesses must uphold the freedom of association and the effective recognition of the right to collective bargaining; Principle 4: the elimination of all forms of forced and compulsory labour; Principle 5: the effective abolition of child labour; and Principle 6: the elimination of discrimination in respect of employment and occupation.  

LTP Group warrants abstaining from any discrimination with regard of race, skin colour, religion, political, sexual orientation, gender, national origin or social rank or status. Discrimination is not only cruel to individuals or minority groups or people in general. Discrimination is also a source for unstable social relations and affects not only businesses but also communities negatively.

LTP Group must acknowledge and uphold the freedom of association and the right to collective bargaining when not restricted by national laws of the factory/subcontractor/supplier.

Working by free will is essential. LTP Group warrants that no part of the labour force or people involved at the premises of the supplier/subcontractor or in other part of the production line is imposed to forced and compulsory labour. No fining or severe reduction must be made in any wages upon mistakes made by the labour force.

LTP Group comply with the ILO (International Labour Organization) conventions recommendations regarding the minimum age for workers which in general is the maximum age for compulsory schooling and child labour.

LTP Group must do its utmost to secure and determine the correct age of the workers employed and such verification must be available in writing for audits.


Minimizing a negative environmental footprint of our manufacturing is necessary for the protecting our world, and it’s also good business.

Principle 7: Businesses must support a precautionary approach to environmental challenges; Principle 8: undertake initiatives to promote greater environmental responsibility; and Principle 9: encourage the development and diffusion of environmentally friendly technologies.   

LTP Group warrants that national environmental laws and regulations are complied with at all times.

We commit to do a continuous and in writing documented work towards a cleaner and more environmentally friendly production in order to secure that the negative consequences to environment are minimized

LTP Group must choose the most environmentally friendly goods, raw materials, methods and/or technology applicable with respect to the ordered quality in all its operations. LTP Group cannot outsource its negative environmental consequences to subcontractors, hence LTP Group is responsible for the environment in the production line in which LTP Group is directly or indirectly involved.

LTP Group and its subsidiaries will, to the extent possible and reasonable, support the development and use of cleaner technologies and procedures.


Corruption is in some countries considered normal, so in LTP Group we have a no compromise attitude to secure a firm and continuing running business.

Principle 10: Businesses must work against corruption in all its forms, including extortion and bribery. 

In general, any and all forms of corruption, extortion and embezzlement are strictly prohibited, and our employees and supplier/subcontractor must understand that such activities may result in immediate termination of the business relationship, communication to relevant authorities and organizations as well as legal actions.


TRUST is one of LTPs values. We are open for audits, and we believe all our partners will support our CoC with their hearts and in actions. We engage in constructive dialogues towards improvements building long termed business relationship.

Principle 11: All businesses involved must at all times be open and accessible for announced and unannounced audits for monitoring and evaluation of compliance with the CoC.

LTP Group and its subsidiaries needs to monitor and evaluate and secure the own and subcontractor’s compliance with this Code of Conduct (CoC). Such monitoring is necessary in order to secure a durable production and business relationship between the LTP Group and its subsidiaries but also in order to satisfy the expectations of the consumers, customers and stakeholders in general of LTP Group and its subsidiaries. 

It is the expectation that audits will be entered into and left by all relevant parties with respect and in a friendly tone. LTP will upon completion and evaluation of each audit receive and share a report of the findings (need to do’s) and recommendations (nice to do’s).
